Dr. Holly McCoppin is a board-certified Dermatologist and fellowship-trained Mohs Micrographic Surgeon at College Park Specialty Center. After graduating summa cum laude from Saint Louis University, Dr. McCoppin earned her medical degree from the University of Missouri, Columbia. Her academic performance in medical school earned her numerous honors. Dr. McCoppin pursued her Dermatology Residency training at the University of Missouri, where she served as Chief Resident in her final year.
The pursuit of excellence in skin cancer treatment led Dr. McCoppin to accept the prestigious Micrographic Surgery & Dermatologic Oncology Fellowship at Emory University. Dr. McCoppin also received advanced training in aesthetic procedures such as Botox, fillers, dermabrasion, chemical peels, laser therapies, blepharoplasty, sclerotherapy, and liposuction.
She has lectured nationally and published several articles regarding skin cancer, surgery, laser therapies, and has has been featured on national and local programs such as The Weather Channel, WebMD, KCTV5, and the Kansas City Star. Dr. McCoppin is also Assistant Professor of Internal Medicine - Dermatology at the University of Kansas Medical Center and is actively involved in the teaching of KU Med Dermatology Residents.
